十四歲的吉娜．孟塔多(Gina Montalto)是學校樂旗隊的成員，喜歡跳舞，有甜美的笑容跟藝術家的天份。「看著她總是讓人融化的笑臉，好像整個房間都會隨著發亮起來，她的幽默讓每位遇見的人都想成為朋友。」，爸媽如此描述吉娜。

「我知道現在的她一定帶著總不離手的畫冊，忙著設計出下個最美的潮流」，她的姑姑說，「不管是在天堂的哪一個角落。」吉娜．孟塔多，是佛州道格拉斯中學槍擊案的十七名受害者之一。

如此不停發生的悲劇，讓新世代的學生們再也不願沉默。這一天，他們走出教室，吶喊出自己的心聲。
